Job Title: Temp Purchase Ledger Assistant


Location: BD5, parking on site


Hours: 08:30 - 17:30, fully office based


Duration: Ongoing, potential to become permanent!


Hourly Rate: £12.50 - 13.00 per hour

Our client, a leading organisation in their industry, is seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. If you have experience in a similar role, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you - especially as you have the potential to become permanent!


Responsibilities:



  • Matching, checking, and coding supplier invoices

  • Reconciling supplier statements and querying where necessary

  • Setting up new suppliers and ensuring system is up to date

  • Liaising with other departments to resolve discrepancies

  • Maintaining the petty cash

  • Assisting in month-end closing activities

  • Supporting the wider team as needed


What we are looking for:



  • Experience in a similar role

  • Experience with Sage 1000 would be beneficial but not essential
