Job Title: Temporary Receptionist/Administrator


Location: Exeter


Duration: 4 weeks, ASAP start


Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, working week consists of a rotation, with the first week requiring one day of work and the second week four days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday).


Salary: £11.44 - £11.70 per hour


The Role :. As a receptionist/administration you will be crucial part of the team acting as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring that their experience is positive from start to finish. You will also manage and oversee the switchboard of a busy reception desk, escalating and dealing with enquires calmly and efficiently. Your friendly and compassion nature will be put to good use as you interact with residents and their families, providing support and assistance when needed. Your attention to detail and ability to manage changing priorities will enable you to excel in this role!



Key Duties :



  • Managing a busy switchboard, handling incoming inquiries from GPS, healthcare workers, and customers.

  • Updating and maintaining customer records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Assisting the Business Relationship Manager with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.

  • Maintaining an organised and efficient reception area, keeping it tidy and presentable at all times.

  • Providing general administrative support, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.



About You :



  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to deal with sensitive situations.
