Senior Receptionist (Temporary, Part-Time)

Our client, a leading organisation in the legal industry, is seeking a Senior Receptionist to join their Newcastle City Centre office on a temporary basis for three months, with the potential for extension.
Position Overview:
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Contract Length: 3 months (potentially extended)
- Working Pattern: Part-Time (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8am - 4pm, with some weekend work on a rota basis)
- Location: Newcastle City Centre (please note: no parking available)
- Salary: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour, depending on experience (paid on a weekly basis through OA)
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and hosting visitors with a warm and professional demeanour
- Managing the main Newcastle office telephone line
- Maintaining a visitor register for compliance purposes
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries
- Circulating a weekly email listing visitors and staff travels
- Coordinating parking facilities and ordering office supplies
- Booking meeting rooms
- Ensuring general housekeeping and setup for meetings
- Conducting health and safety audits and contractor supervision
- Supporting with event set up - some manual handling duties may be involved
- Supporting management with travel bookings, invoicing, and administrative tasks
