Mailroom Operative
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic number of individuals to join our client's dynamic team as a Mailroom Operative. This is a temporary full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of our client's mailroom service operations. Our client has a number of site locations across London with efficient transport links.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail with efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing our client's organisation in a professional manner.
- Handle face-to-face and telephone inquiries from clients, ensuring prompt and helpful responses.
- Maintain an organised filing system and retrieve documents as needed.
- Book and manage courier items, ensuring timely delivery and receipt.
- Process archive files and track signature movements using onsite computer systems.
- Flexibly respond to any client requirements as necessary.
- Assist with any additional duties as directed by the Operations Manager or Client.
Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses excellent customer service skills and maintains a professional demeanour at all times.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
- Works accurately under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while remaining calm and focused.
- Has basic IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, and web navigation.
- Can work flexible shifts between Monday and Friday, from 7am to 7pm.
Dress Code:
Black trousers and a white shirt will be required as part of the dress code.
