Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Assistant to join their Dispute Resolution department. As a PA, you will play a key role in supporting fee earners, ensuring efficient operations, and providing exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare correspondence and documents, including transcribing digital dictation.
- Manage mail and enclosures for dispatch.
- Progress client matters in the absence of fee earners.
- Arrange appointments and meetings, maintain an up-to-date diary.
- Attend to clients both in person and on the telephone with professionalism.
- Administer filing, including daily filing and retrieval of client files.
- Provide support to other PA's/secretaries as required.
- Undertake training for self-development.
- Ensure confidentiality of all documentation and information.
Skills / Experience
- Previous legal secretarial experience, with at least 2 years in dispute resolution.
- Excellent touch-typing speed with high accuracy.
- Advanced IT skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload effectively.
- Knowledge of case management systems
- Understanding of law/legal practise
