Key Responsibilities:


As a Junior Estimator, you will:



  • Prepare initial cost estimates for installations and develop price schedules and bid proposals.

  • Analyse technical aspects of projects based on blueprints, drawings, and other reference materials.

  • Compile estimates of labour and material costs to prepare competitive bids.

  • Assist clients in making informed decisions to successfully win bids.

  • Review analysis reports and seek opportunities for additional orders.

  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain bids for materials and services, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

  • Forecast project timelines and ensure all estimates are accurate and detailed.

  • Maintain organised documentation and records of estimates, contracts, and project costs for future reference.



What We're Looking For:



  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.

  • Good time management and scheduling abilities to meet tight deadlines.

  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

  • Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred but not essential.
