Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm / 8.00am - 5.00pm

Our client is seeking a dynamic and professional Front of House (Lead Receptionist) to join their Facilities Team on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our reception area, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all visitors, clients, and staff. Your role will be pivotal in upholding our service standards and leading by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee front-of-house services, ensuring smooth delivery and availability of office facilities, refreshments, and visitor support.
- Manage the booking, setup, and upkeep of meeting rooms and collaborative spaces, ensuring they are client-ready at all times.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all front-of-house-related enquiries, providing guidance and support.
- Professionally meet and greet all guests, clients, and contractors, ensuring a positive and polished experience.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal departments, senior leadership, and key stakeholders.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive communications and documentation.
- Supervise the sign-in and data recording process for visitors and contractors, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Coordinate with departments such as events, facilities, and housekeeping to deliver seamless support to visitors.
- Proactively anticipate and accommodate guest needs to ensure an exceptional experience.
- Ensure building occupants adhere to visitor protocols, communicate site rules and expectations to guests upon arrival.
- Oversee the visitor sign-in process, ensuring accurate records.
- Monitor the use of ID badges and access controls.
- Address any front-of-house safety concerns proactively, provide or coordinate appropriate support in the event of medical needs.
- Take ownership of general administrative and office support duties as directed by management.
- Provide leadership and support to reception colleagues, ensuring consistent standards and coverage.
- Reserve and set up meeting rooms and collaboration spaces, ensure meeting rooms are clean and ready for use.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within facilities or hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently and taking initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other workplace systems.
