As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be a vital part of the finance function, working closely with the Finance Manager and a collaborative team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, accurate financial reporting, and support with various financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase Invoicing: Process high volume of purchase invoices accurately and promptly using the internal ticketing and processing system (Lightyear).
- Sales Invoicing:
- Run daily sales invoicing and profit reports, review data, and provide insights to senior management.
- Generate and issue sales invoices using Xero accounting software.
- Update and reconcile daily consolidated customer reports.
- Banking & Cash Management:
- Assign daily sales to invoices in the finance system.
- Support the Finance Director with daily bank reconciliations and month-end reports.
- Month-End Duties:
- Reconcile customer portal reports.
- Prepare customer consolidation reports.
- Generate and issue C.I.S statements to suppliers where applicable.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide additional support as required to meet team goals.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A calm and accurate approach under pressure, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting tools like Xero and Lightyear (a plus, but not essential).
