Sales Administrator/Order Processor

Rainham, Essex

£26,000 - £29,000 per annum

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm working hours

17 days annual leave (increasing with service) + Bank Holidays and Christmas Closure, pension scheme, on-site parking and discretionary bonus after 1 year service.

Are you an experienced Sales Administrator/Order Processor looking for a new opportunity to join a well established business? We have an exciting role available for you to join a thriving and reputable organisation based in Rainham, Essex.


  • Handle inbound calls and provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and queries.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Prepare and provide customers with accurate quotations.

  • Process customer orders efficiently, offering suitable alternatives for out of stock items.

  • Keep existing customers informed of any changes or delays in delivery times.

  • Coordinate with the accounts department regarding customer credit limits.

  • Liaise with the purchasing and transport teams to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.


  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
