    • ASAP Start! Please note, due to the urgency of this recruit it is essential you are available to start work immediately.

    • Location: Gateshead, close to the Metro Centre, with free on-site parking!

    • Salary: £25,000

    • Contract Details: Temporary, with the view to be made permanent for the right candidate.

    • Working Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM, totalling 37 hours per week.

💼 About the Role: Our client is seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join their team. As the first point of contact for clients, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment in their modern office space.


📞 Handle switchboard duties, answer telephone calls, and respond to queries

👋 Greet visitors and ensure a warm welcome

☎️ Manage incoming calls and correspondence

🗓️ Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

📝 Assist with administrative tasks, including document preparation and data entry

⌨️ Type correspondence

🏢 Ensure the reception area remains tidy and professional at all times

Ideal Candidate:

✨ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

📚 Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

😊 A friendly and professional demeanour

👥 Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
