Are you a creative and innovative Marketing Assistant? Are you passionate about making a positive impact within the education industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity that you won't want to miss! You will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to promote our client's education services. Your main focus will be on digital channels, including social media, email marketing, and website management. You will collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content, monitor campaign performance, and drive website traffic.



JOB TITLE: Marketing Assistant
LOCATION: Rochester, Kent
SALARY: £14.00 per hour
TERM: Temporary
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm



The day to day duties in your new job would be:


Content Creator
● Act as a key point of contact for content with pupils, teaching and support staff to identify engaging news stories that are 'on brand'
● Develop, collate and edit creative, well-written material (including copy written by others)
● Take and edit photographs and film
● Proactively manage and develop the School's photo and video library (including photography or video consent)
● Ensure all marketing materials produced are compliant with GDPR regulations


Digital and Social Media
● Lead on the design and production of the parents' weekly Mailchimp e-newsletter
● Oversee and manage the editing of the School website content
● Create and schedule content for the School's social media channels to support the School's key marketing priorities


● Analyse website and social media performance and provide recommendations for continual improvement
● Assist with scheduling, booking and creative production of advertising


Printed Material
● Be responsible for the business's promotional stands and other event support material (signs, banners and merchandise), ordering new stock as required and ensuring the timely supply of stock to events


Events
● Manage logistics, organisation and promotion of events. Customer service and liaison with attendees in the build up to events. Attending and hosting events in partnership with the wider Marketing, Admissions and Development team. Some of these events may take place in the evening or at weekends
● Manage event bookings and communications


We'd love to speak to candidates who have:



  • Knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

  • Proven experience working within a similar role

  • Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook, Experience of using Wordpress is desirable

  • Ability to convey information clearly and accurately both orally and in writing

  • Systematic and thorough working approach with the ability to work independently

  • Immediately availability and happy to commit to a temporary position
