Export Operations - Up to £30,000 per annum!

Location: Bradford BD1- Free on-site parking

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm

Salary Range: £26,000- £30,000

Contract: Permanent (Office Based)

We are working with one of the UK's top 10 fastest growing business's and they are looking for someone who with previous experience in Export/ Import or Freight Forwarding!

You will be working within their friendly Export Department assisting in the management and development of services for exporting goods around the world.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with the entire process of exporting goods around the world from start to finish

  • Receive quotation requests from clients for prices to move cargo from the UK around the world / to another country.

  • Use the various tariffs periodically provided or online pricing websites to obtain the required information for the client or liaise with carriers or other suppliers to obtain the best price for the shipment and quote accordingly.

  • Input all the relevant data onto the CRM system and liaise with suppliers and carriers worldwide to arrange the shipment.

  • Keep the client up to date with the booking and ensure that the shipment is made as planned.

  • Prepare all the necessary shipping documents to send to the customers as per their instructions, including:

  • Sending letters / emails to the overseas Agents.

  • Send invoices to suppliers and copies to the accounts department

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Previous experience in Export/ Import or Freight Forwarding is essential for this position

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to negotiate effectively with customers and suppliers.

  • IT literate - Excel, Outlook CRM systems
