🚀 Exciting Opportunity: Administrator (Permanent) - Gateshead!


Office Angels are currently seeking a proactive Administrator to join our client's team, based in Team Valley. You will report directly to the Business Director and collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of project support.

  • 💷 Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

  • 🕗 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch, two 15-minute unpaid breaks), fully office-based

🎯 Job Purpose:


To provide comprehensive administrative support to the project management team, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all stages of the project lifecycle.


🛠️ Key Responsibilities:



  • Set up projects in the CRM system

  • Generate certificates

  • Sales order processing

  • Book pre-start meetings for Project Managers and relevant vendors and prepare required documentation

  • Raise purchase orders and maintain logs

  • Handle stock and material requests and replenishment

  • Manage the administrative process for all projects within the team

  • Update project programmes and requirements via the in-house system

  • Create, print, and distribute site files for the Project team

  • Assist with compliance admin duties

  • Raise sub-contractor payment certificates for Project Manager sign-off

  • Address invoice queries

  • Create and manage project files

  • Scan and file all project returns

  • Maintain business logs and manage shared inboxes

  • Handle incoming enquiries


💻 Technical Competencies:



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and specialist software

  • Enthusiastic, quick learner with a commitment to excellence

  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with various departments and external contacts

  • Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently


🏅 Experience Required:



  • Proven experience in a strong administrative role

  • High-level communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone

  • Experience in project administration or a related sector is desirable but not essential
